No Stopping the Cult of the Brand

Located in mountainous Northern Vietnam, very near the border of China, is the small town of Bac Ha where different ethnic tribes (including the Flower H'Mong shown below) gather on Sunday to barter their goods. The market is frenzied with everything on sale from livestock (and they are really still alive) to brightly colored yarns. You can see in tow small native horses, dogs, pigs, chickens and of course the children who cannot be left behind back home.

Although it is not an easy place to get to (several hours by train or by jeep from Hanoi), it is evident that the cult of the brand has also invaded these people as you will notice in the pictures below.
