Serangoon Junior College
Student's performances in entrepreneurship competitions have been exemplary at SRJC. They have won several awards both for local and international events. But the true test of entrepreneurship mettle is not in winning competitions but in actually becoming one.
So Winson Poh did just that. After attending several workshops including one given by The Little Entrepreneur, Winson took the prize money he had won from the various competitions and set up Jobaperture Advertising. The agency provides affordable services to small neighborhood shops to meet their employment, printing and other needs.
"This is the entrepreneurship spirit in its true form. The students are able to see and adapt to changes. Moreover, they not only set up a company for themselves but in so doing, they also help the jobless and the smaller companies during the economic downturn." Lan Wei Xiong
