Beijing's Bird Nest Olympic Stadium (May 2008)

Barely three (3) months before the Olympic Games 2008 and all is abuzz in Beijing. The heat was searing but none of our spirits sagged because of it. After all, how many people get a chance to enter the Bird's Nest Stadium before the actual Olympics. Security was tight but the staff (almost all volunteers) were friendly and courteous.

We were there for the qualifying heats, but the highlight had to be just being inside the stadium and watching the Fuwa (Beijing Olympic Mascots) entertain the crowd.

The Olympics are about being faster, going higher, becoming stronger- "citius, altius, fortius" the same traits expected of an entrepreneur.
