Montfort Junior School
Who Killed Mr. Andersen?

Anxiousness and excitement made the air in the big hall tremble as 120 young detectives stared at the different rooms of the fresh crime scene they were about to enter. In the office, the body of Mr. Andersen had just been removed, with only the white circumference of tape to indicate what had recently taken place. In the next room there are obvious signs that an intruder had earlier made his or her presence. Footprints? Who do they belong too?

Young Detectives at work

Finally, after reading the files on the suspects, the boys at Montfort Jr. got their chance to show their knowledge and ability in the all-time favourite kid activity: Detective Work! After having learned the theory the week before, the boys were now up to a ”real” CSI (crime scene investigation) task. Mr. Andersen had been murdered in his own office and three main suspects had been identified.

The boys then had only seven minutes in each part of the crime scene to gather pieces of evidence and information crucial to solve the case. Even though the case was a tricky one, several groups came up with brilliant conclusions leading to the apprehension of the criminal. Seeing the boys effort in this workshop, all we can say is: ”Watch out criminals! There´s a new generation of investigators in town!”
