The inventor's most important tool is his brain!

Fairfield students got a supercharge in creativity during this TLE workshop that took them through the thrills and spills of inventing. They learned how inventors think, work and take advantage of happy accidents.

The Thinking Machine

By the end of the workshop, they had figured out how one piece of paper can carry 5 kilos of weight. They had transformed a tiny strip into a formidable sucking device. They discoverd the association and principles of sight and distance. They transformed an ordinary bike into an out-of-this-world vehicle. Walking away armed with new tools to tackle the world, students no longer saw problems but solutions waiting to happen.
